Server Guide & Wiki
Everything you need to know about Tibia Survival — an extreme open-world sandbox where players build every city, hire every NPC, and fight for total territorial domination. No safe zones. No pre-built towns. Only the strongest survive.
World Overview
📋 Table of Contents
Tibia Survival is a hardcore open-world sandbox built on a fully custom map. There are no pre-built cities, no safe zones, and no default NPCs. Every merchant, building, city, and service is created, funded, and maintained entirely by players.
The world operates on a single brutal principle: if you want something, build it — or take it from someone who already has.
Getting Started
When you first spawn into the world you are completely alone — no shops, no towns, no safety. Here is the recommended path to survive your first days:
| Level Milestone | What Unlocks |
|---|---|
| Level 20 | First free house claim (via Builder Panel in client) |
| Level 40+ | Can add extra floors (via Builder Panel in client) |
| Any level | Can hire NPCs, craft items, join guild wars |
| Guild (any) | Can found a city together with guild members |
Dynamic Housing System
Unlike standard Tibia servers, houses on Tibia Survival are constructed anywhere on the open map by players using in-game commands. Your house is your base, vault, and commercial hub.
🏠 Building & Managing
- First House (FREE): Requires Level 20. Walk to any clear area in the wild and use the Build House option in the client Builder Panel. Spawns a 5×5 wooden structure. One free house per player — each player can only claim one free house.
- Additional Houses: Costs 200 gold × your level, capped at 20,000 gold at level 100+. Payment is automatically taken from your inventory, bank, or depot — in that priority order. If you have a mix, gold is pulled from all sources as needed.
- Adding Floors: Use the Add Floor option in the client Builder Panel while inside your house. Requires Level 40 and costs gold. You can stack up to 3 additional floors to create a tower-style fortress.
- Leaving a House: Use the Leave House option in the client Builder Panel to abandon ownership. The structure remains on the map as neutral ground. All items inside stay (no automatic removal).
- Rebuilding: Use the Builder Panel to reconfigure walls, floors, and furniture for a gold cost. Access it via the client HUD.
💰 House Cost Summary
| Action | Cost | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| First house | FREE | Level 20 |
| Additional house | 200 gold × level (max 20,000) | None |
| Add floor | Paid (builder panel) | Level 40 + must be inside |
| Hire an NPC | 5,000 gold per NPC | Must own the house |
| Leave house | Free | Must be owner |
NPCs & Services
There are no default merchants in the wild. To access trade, banking, or magic supplies, you must personally hire NPCs for 5,000 gold each using the builder panel. NPCs can be placed anywhere in the open world — they do not need to be inside a house. There are 6 hirable NPC types:
Xodet
Sells blank runes, wands, magical fluids, and spell accessories. Essential for mages.
Al Dee
Sells ropes, shovels, torches, lockpicks, and basic exploration and utility items.
Willie
Sells food and consumables. Keeping your character fed restores health regeneration.
Sam
Sells and buys melee weapons, shields, and basic armor. Good for equipping new fighters.
Rashid
Buys rare creature loot and high-tier drops. The primary source of gold income for hunters.
Traveler
Provides fast travel and passage between locations. Does NOT count toward the 5 NPCs required to found a city.
NPC Kill System
On Tibia Survival, all hired NPCs are mortal. Enemy players can destroy them by summoning a Sapper Golem. This is a core PvP mechanic — weakening an enemy's NPCs cripples their economy and disrupts their city services.
(Requires house ownership)
Sapper Golem
target NPC
15 min White Skull
rehire (5,000 gp)
Rules & Mechanics
- Potion & House Requirement: To summon a Sapper Golem using a Sapper Potion, the attacking player must own an active custom house. It cannot be used inside a Protection Zone (PZ).
- Attack Command: Use
Ctrl + Right Clickon the target NPC to order the Sapper Golem to move in and attack it. The golem remains active for up to 1 hour. - White Skull System: While your Sapper Golem is attacking the NPC, you receive a 60-second White Skull that refreshes on every hit. When the NPC is destroyed, you receive a 15-minute White Skull (persisted across login/logout). No unjustified kill frags are added to your character.
- Rehiring Mandatory: Once an NPC is killed, it is permanently removed. The owner must open the Builder Panel and pay 5,000 gold to hire a replacement NPC.
- Defenders Can Intervene: House owners and defenders can attack the summoner and their Sapper Golem to protect the NPC.
📋 NPC Kill Reference
| Situation | Result |
|---|---|
| Attack Method | Drink Sapper Potion + Ctrl + Right Click target NPC |
| Attacker Skull? | Yes: 60s White Skull during attack, 15 min White Skull on NPC death |
| Unjustified Frags? | No frags added to character record |
| NPC Replacement | Owner must rehire via Builder Panel for 5,000 gold |
Crafting & House Facilities
By building a Siege Cauldron on the 2nd floor (or higher) of your house, you unlock access to Tibia Survival's crafting system. All craftable items serve strategic combat or defensive purposes.
🛡️ Anti-Exiva Crystal
Cost: 3,000 gold
Places a crystal inside your house that blocks the exiva spell for all players inside. Enemies cannot track you while you're inside your house. If the crystal is destroyed or lost, re-craft it using the Anti-Exiva option in the client Builder Panel (costs gold).
🌀 Trade Portal
Cost: 3,000 gold
Creates a portal in your house that instantly teleports players to the global Trade Area. Extremely valuable — houses with Trade Portals become commerce hubs. Taxed at the current guild tax rate (2%) if you are not in the Dominant Guild.
🌋 Siege Cauldron
Cost: 10,000 gold — Must be on floor 2+
The core crafting station of the server. Must be placed on the second floor or higher of your house. Used to craft Siege Breaker Runes and other strategic items. Also acts as a trophy of wealth visible to raiders.
💥 Siege Breaker Rune
Crafted in Siege Cauldron
The only way to disable a Destructor Golem's invulnerability. Throw this rune at an active Golem to break its shield for exactly 15 seconds, allowing all players to deal damage to it. After 15 seconds, the shield regenerates.
❤️ Heart Restoration Rune
Crafted in Siege Cauldron
Cast on your own City Heart to restore 5,000 HP (max HP: 30,000). Cannot be used if the City Heart was attacked by a Golem in the last 12 hours, or if the city is currently bet in an active guild war.
🧪 Home Defense Potion
Crafted in Siege Cauldron — 5,000 gold
An emergency recall potion. Instantly teleports you back to your house door to defend it only when your house is under active raid by enemy attackers.
- Exclusive Self-Use: Can only be applied to your own character (by clicking on yourself).
- Out of Combat: Cannot be used while in combat (infight) or under Protection Zone / White Skull block.
- Active Raid Required: Only works if your house is actively being raided at that exact moment.
- Safe Teleport: Places you directly at your house door or nearest walkable tile.
🔍 City Scanner
Crafted in Siege Cauldron
A one-use item that scans all existing cities and reports which ones currently have 3 or more defenders online — the threshold required for a city to be vulnerable to Golem attack. Plan your siege with information, not guesswork.
Weekend House Raids
Every weekend, all player-owned houses become vulnerable to full demolition. A Raid Crystal spawns outside every owned house. If attackers destroy it, the house is completely demolished and looted.
🔴 Attacker Side
- Raid Potion required: Normal attacks, spells, and weapons deal 0 damage to the Raid Crystal. You must drink a Raid Potion first to become able to damage it.
- White Skull + PZ Lock: The moment you deal damage to the Raid Crystal, you receive a White Skull and a 15-minute Protection Zone lock.
- Healing attackers counts: Healing a raider during an active raid also flags you as an attacker. You get the same skull and PZ lock.
- Bigger party = bigger waves: The number of registered attackers scales the monster waves. More raiders = harder defense.
🟢 Defender Side
- House owner is immune: You and your guild members have friendly-fire immunity during your own raid defense.
- Home Defense Potion: Instant emergency recall to your house when under active raid. Crafted in Siege Cauldron for 5,000 gold.
- Kill the attackers: Attackers are PvP targets — killing them delays or stops the raid entirely.
- Place NPCs nearby: NPCs positioned around your base fight back against attackers and help slow down the raid.
- Anti-Exiva Crystal: Prevents attackers from locating you with exiva while you're inside your house.
• Requirements: Must be the house owner, self-use, out of combat (no infight or PZ block), and your house must have an active raid with real attackers at that moment.
👾 Monster Defense Waves
As the Raid Crystal loses HP it triggers defensive monster waves (at 99%, 70%, 50%, and 30% HP). Monster type is determined by the owner's level. Quantity per wave scales with the number of active attackers — the more raiders, the more monsters spawn.
| Crystal HP | Event | Lv 1–20 | Lv 21–30 | Lv 31–40 | Lv 41–50 | Lv 51–60 | Lv 61+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 99% | Wave 1 | Orc ×1 | Fire Devil ×1 | Fire Elemental ×1 | Dragon ×1 | Dragon ×2 | Dragon Lord ×2 |
| 70% | Wave 2 | Orc ×1 | Fire Devil ×1 | Fire Elemental ×1 | Dragon ×1 | Dragon ×2 | Dragon Lord ×2 |
| 50% | Wave 3 | Orc ×1 | Fire Devil ×1 | Fire Elemental ×1 | Dragon ×1 | Dragon ×2 | Dragon Lord ×2 |
| 30% | Wave 4 | Orc ×1 | Fire Devil ×1 | Fire Elemental ×1 | Dragon ×1 | Dragon ×2 | Dragon Lord ×2 |

City Conquest
Guilds can found their own sovereign cities, gaining taxation rights over the entire server. Owning the most cities makes your guild the Dominant Guild — collecting 2% tax on every trade and travel action by non-members.
👑 City Founding Requirements
-
5 Guild-Owned Houses All 5 houses must belong to members of the same guild, clustered within a 50 SQM radius of the founding point.
-
5 Active Hired NPCs At least 5 NPCs (any combination of Rashid, Al Dee, Willie, Sam, Xodet) must be placed inside those houses within the radius.
-
100,000 Gold The guild leader pays 100k gold to officially register the city using the Found City option in the client at the center of the cluster.
When all conditions are met and the command is used, a City Heart spawns at the center of the city with 30,000 HP. The City Heart is the living symbol of city ownership — if it is destroyed, the city is conquered.
• Guild leader can withdraw from city treasury
• NPCs salute non-members with guild name
• Prestige — most cities = dominant guild
• Weekly Activity Rule (10 Hours): Must maintain at least 10 active hours/week (Mon-Sun with 3+ members online) or city becomes PERMANENTLY VULNERABLE
• Automatic Recovery (5 Hours): Reaching 5 active hours in a week automatically restores protection
• NPCs can be killed, dropping city NPC count (grace period if < 5)
⏳ Weekly Guild Activity & Permanent Vulnerability
To prevent abandoned cities from staying protected indefinitely, the server tracks guild online activity every week (Monday 00:00:00 to Sunday 23:59:59):
- 10-Hour Weekly Requirement: A ruling guild must accumulate a total of at least 10 hours per calendar week where 3 or more guild members are online simultaneously (excluding players in the Trade Area).
- Permanent Vulnerability (Inactivity): If a guild fails to reach 10 active hours in a week, their city becomes PERMANENTLY VULNERABLE. Enemy Golems can attack and conquer the city at any time, even with 0 defenders online.
- Immediate Recovery (5 Hours): If a city is permanently vulnerable, as soon as its ruling guild reaches 5 active hours in the current week, protection is immediately and automatically restored!
- First-Week Grace Period: Newly founded cities enjoy a 1-week grace period during their creation week and will not be evaluated or penalized until their first full week.
- Checking Activity: Players can check their guild's weekly active hours using the City Heart Scanner item or by opening the Activity Tab in the City Builder HUD panel.
Destructor Golem Siege
The Destructor Golem is the primary siege weapon used to conquer enemy cities. Only guild leaders can purchase Golem Eggs, and the conquest process takes careful planning.
🥚 Golem Egg — Full Process
80,000 gold
incubation
in client near egg
2h lifetime
destroyed
⚔️ Golem Mechanics
- Purchase limit: Maximum 3 Golem Eggs incubating per guild at any time.
- Invulnerability shield: The Golem is completely immune to all damage while any member of the owning guild is within 10 SQM of it.
- Shield break: Throw a Siege Breaker Rune at the Golem to disable the shield for 15 seconds. This is the only window to damage and destroy the Golem.
- City Scanner: Before deploying, use the City Scanner item to check which cities have 3+ defenders online or are Permanently Vulnerable by Inactivity.
🏰 City Vulnerability
- 3+ defenders required: A city with normal protection is vulnerable if at least 3 members of the defending guild are online at the moment the Golem hatches.
- Permanent Vulnerability (< 10h/wk): If a city's ruling guild falls below 10 active hours/week, the city is permanently vulnerable to Golem attacks regardless of online defenders.
- Heart Restoration Rune: Defenders can heal the City Heart for 5,000 HP, but only if no Golem has attacked in the last 12 hours.
- City Heart max HP: 30,000 HP. The Golem deals damage continuously while active.
- On conquest: If the City Heart reaches 0 HP, it is destroyed. The conquering guild leader receives a Scroll of Conquest to decide the city's fate.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Golem Egg cost | 80,000 gold (per egg) |
| Incubation time | 24 hours after purchase |
| Golem active lifetime | 2 hours |
| Max eggs per guild | 3 (simultaneously incubating) |
| Siege Breaker window | 15 seconds per rune |
| Min defenders for vulnerability | 3 guild members online OR Permanently Vulnerable (<10h/wk) |

| Activity recovery target | 5 hours (immediately restores protection) |
| City Heart max HP | 30,000 HP |
| Heart Restoration Rune heal | +5,000 HP (blocked if attacked in last 12h) |
Guild Wars & City Bets
Guild leaders can declare formal wars against rival guilds. Wars have a kill limit, optional city bets, and permanent stat tracking. This is the highest-stakes PvP system on the server.
⚔️ How Wars Work
- Declaring war: Guild leaders use the in-game Guild War Panel (accessed via the client HUD) to challenge another guild. Both leaders must accept the declaration.
- Kill limit: Set a maximum number of kills. When one guild reaches the kill limit against the other, the war ends and the loser is declared.
- War emblems: During an active war, members of both guilds see each other's war emblems above their heads in-game, making enemies clearly identifiable.
- Surrender: A guild can surrender at any time. On surrender, the losing guild immediately loses the war outcome (including any bet city — see below).
🏙️ City Bets — Ultimate Stakes
Guild leaders can bet a city when declaring or accepting a war. If the war is won, the winner takes the loser's bet city.
| War Outcome | Result |
|---|---|
| Guild A wins (kill limit reached) | Guild A takes Guild B's bet city |
| Guild B surrenders | Guild B immediately loses their bet city to Guild A |
| ⚠️ Third-party Golem conquers the bet city during war | War is VOIDED (Status 5). Guild C keeps the city. Guild A (original owner) is declared loser. Guild B receives nothing. War ends — no winner. |
📊 War History & Status Codes
| Status Code | Meaning | Displayed As |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Pending — awaiting acceptance | Pending |
| 1 | Active war in progress | Active |
| 4 | Ended by surrender | Surrender |
| 5 | Voided — 3rd party captured bet city | Voided (3rd Party Siege) |
Tax System
The guild that controls the most cities on the server becomes the Dominant Guild and gains the right to collect a 2% tax on all transactions made by non-members.
- The guild with the most cities is automatically designated as the Dominant Guild.
- Every non-member who buys, sells, or uses a travel portal pays a 2% tax — collected automatically by the server.
- If two guilds are tied in city count, no guild is dominant and no tax is collected by anyone.
- All collected tax goes directly to the Dominant Guild's treasury.
- Only the guild leader can withdraw gold from the guild treasury.
📊 Tax Rate Summary
| Player Type | Buy Tax | Sell Tax | Travel Tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dominant Guild member | 0% | 0% | 0% |
| All other players | +2% | -2% | +2% |
| No dominant guild (tie) | 0% | 0% | 0% |
